PUBLIC SCHOOL SUPPORT PROGRAM

This program is carried out to those school and community who need immediate construction in their area. We conduct the following works in this program: School Building Students Learning Center School Toilet Reconstruction and Maintenance of existing building

School Building
Under this program, we construction the school building of public schools. We do the analysis of the basic infrastructure of the public school and if we feel that the poor infrastructure is hampering for the quality education, we build the school for such public school.

Proposed Plan and Works
The total length of construction project is around two years. Each month, we expect a group of volunteer (minimum-3 volunteers). We will also hire 1-2 skilled local labors to lead the project. Therefore, volunteers will be working with the local people and assisting them.
The construction project will be physically demanding. You will carry bricks, mix cement, screen sand, and do other activities of the project. Volunteers mostly work 5-6 hours a day without hurrying to much (no rush). In your free time, you can play with children or explore the local villages. You won’t require any skills required to join the project. You should however be fit and in physically good condition as construction work is physically demanding.

Accommodation and Meal
CHHAHARI Nepal will look after your accommodation and meal during your entire stay. You’ll stay with the host family. You’ll enjoy three meals a day, which are usually Nepalese food. Enjoy Nepalese food like dal, bhat and spicy curry.
Students Learning Center
There are many schools which have its buildings, toilets and other basic infrastructures but lack well-equipped and well-managed learning centers, even there is no peaceful environment and not such instruments to control the minor sounds. The schools, which need the learning centers for their students to cater the learning environment, are also taken into account.

School Toilet
The schools, which lack the toilet, also create the problem to the students in the schools. There are some schools, which do not have toilet at all, others lack separate toilets to the boy and girl students. The schools, which have toilet, are also mismanaged with the lack of proper water supply, proper drainage and proper cleanliness. So, our motto is not only to build school toilets but also to support them to manage it well. We are collecting the application from the needed schools.
